PS Series - Sideloading Forklift (overview)

PS Series Overview Axle & Steering Design

Large pneumatic tires for operation on rough uneven grounds. BP rear axle and transmission design for hydrodynamic "power shift" series sideloaders features 2 and 3 speed operation depending on the sideloader model. Rear axle with double reduction differential and high resistance special steel half shafts provide maximum torque to the wheels.

Front axle steering with hydraulic mono cylinder enables narrow precise steering for the operator. Hydraulic service brake with servo assisted braking on the front wheels and oil bath servo assisted braking on the rear wheels. Separate service brake circuits on the front and rear axles.

Chassis tilt cylinder located on the cab side for maximum safety in case of mechanical failure. Larger vehicles also incorporate roll away hydraulic stabilizers for the loading operation - capacities are then provided with and without stabilizers.
